The Southern Script Festival is being held at Bournemouth University in England on March 17–18, 2012. The Director is Rosie Cullen Programme Leader for MA Screenwriting in BU’s Media School. What's it all about?

The Bournemouth University Media School invites YOU to attend the first annual Southern Script Festival. A grand menagerie of informative learning and debate concerning all things scriptwriterly!
This new two-day festival is organised and led by students at Bournemouth University studying MA Screenwriting, MA Writing for the Media and BA Scriptwriting. With a student centred focus, Southern Script Festival will provide Southern student scriptwriters with a large, committed yearly event intended to enhance their abilities, inform them of current trends in screenwriting education, and to encourage a strong relationship between scriptwriting courses and the media industry in the South.
The conference consists of a variety show of intriguing lectures from real industry professionals and lecturers, ranging from straightforward talks to open debates, as well as small productive workshops and entertaining events like speed pitching!

Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions, together with the registration form, constitute a legally binding contract between you and us (Bournemouth University).
The registration fee includes: festival registration and access to all festival sessions, festival material, festival proceedings and lunch throughout the festival. Accommodation, travel expenses to/from the venue and bank charges are not included in registration fees.
All fees are payable in advance of the event, failing which you may be refused admission. Your registration is not considered confirmed until payment is received in full. Please note that each attendee must produce a valid ticket to attend the event. Holders of Student tickets must produce a valid student identification card upon demand. Student tickets include the Student Early Bird and the Student Full Price concessions. We reserve the right to refuse the ticket holder access to the event if they fail to produce a valid student card on the day.
It may be necessary for reasons beyond our control to change the content and timing of the festival, the speakers, the date or the venue. In the unlikely event of the festival being cancelled, we will automatically make a full refund but disclaim any further liability.
If you are unable to attend you may substitute, by arrangement with Bournemouth University, someone else. Registrations cancelled on or before Wednesday 7 March 2012 will receive a full refund. Registrations cancelled on or after Thursday 8 March 2012 will be subject to a 100% cancellation fee.
